There are a couple of things I'd like to mention with this entry. First of all, it didn't dawn on me until last week that I should be looking at each page as it corresponds to the adjacent page (like the pages of an open book). This realization caused me to write/draw these pages with that effect in mind. I drew the right page first. In this page I'm reading a passage from The Holographic Universe. What I am reading causes me first to imagine the materialization of a handgun. Why? I'm not sure. This actually happened. It seems so dramatic/suicidal when coupled with the fatalistic 'reading between the lines' depicted on the previous page. I'm going to have to resolve this dream later; you can't introduce a gun in the first act without utilizing that gun by the end of the story (right? I thought I heard that somewhere...). Anyway, the passage's reference to the carpet then causes me to trip out on the room's wall tapestry; much the same way I spaced out looking at the computer's keyboard on the previous page. All in all these parallel images are supposed to exemplify my altered state of mind, and they give me a chance to draw something that is visually more interesting.

Oh Hey,

Oh Hey, I'm having trouble making my brilliant comments...but, I think I have it figured out now. Anyway, your two latest pages are pretty trippy. It is very ambitious of you to try to show how your mind works. Your explanation is really well-written and I have no doubt you could just WRITE a great book or story. Of course, you are trying to do something different and since you can really draw...I think it is working.
Love, MOm
PS I hate guns
well, it should be noted that I wasn't ACTUALLY able to materialize a gun with my mind.
if you COULD materialize metal with your mind, even volde- youknowwho - would hardly be an equitable challenge to your strength.
this comic makes me a little confused, but i guess that's how you felt, so that's a good response for the reader to have. the gun, along with the haircut, makes me think 'full metal jacket' or something. i like the repeated patterns. i'm not sure if i feel heavy on the importance yet. but i don't think i should, necessarily, because this is just one panel. good work.
The gun thing was said by Chekhov:
