These two pages will function heavily as exposition. This isn't where the story begins, but it's close. Is this boring or is there humor in me walking on/off/on/off with my bags? Does the coincidental nature of the meeting make sense outside of a larger context?...?

wow , is the thought bubble your imaginary friends? i didn't know imaginary friends could have babies.
Gosh, I don't know where to start.I'm very interested in the Galapagos story, but I really like the daily "snippets" also. I thought the drawing of the nail clipping was very good. I'm going to check out the progress often. Meg, you will probably get sick of all my comments. I'll try not to go overboard....but I am a fan.
Love, MOm
Jeez mom, that was so nice. It's 6:30 am and I just woke up in a panic, thinking that you and dad were going to hate these. Thanks for the support!
i didn't really notice the on/off/on/off thing, sorry. that is pretty funny that he just saw you and you ran into each other, but maybe it needs to be more defined that you hadn't communicated much before the metting. or had you? i don't know, i'm finding out more and more about this trip as i read this comic. also, i'm commenting too much, but that's the point of this, right?
